Licence agreement

1. What this document is

This is a public offer: an agreement between you and the licensor 〔NAME AND LEGAL STATUS〕 ("we") on the use of Arx Player, Arx Remote and Arx Companion (the "Apps"). Paying for a licence or starting to use the Apps, including the trial, constitutes acceptance.

2. The licence

After payment you receive a simple (non-exclusive), perpetual, non-transferable licence for personal use. The licence is tied to your Telegram account and covers up to 5 devices at a time; signing in on a device above the limit automatically detaches the least-recently-used one.

3. Trial

Each Telegram account gets one free trial per App: 7 days of full functionality from the first sign-in. Reinstalling or switching devices does not extend or reset it.

4. Payment

The licence is a one-time payment via the details issued by the official Telegram bot @ArxSecretorum_bot. Payments are confirmed manually; the licence activates upon confirmation. No subscriptions, no hidden charges.

5. Devices and technical measures

The licence relies on technical protection: a signed offline licence on the device (up to 90 days of autonomy) renewed silently in the background when a network is available. Circumventing, disabling or modifying these measures is prohibited.

6. What is not allowed

You may not: hand your Telegram account to third parties so they can use the licence; distribute, rent out or resell the licence; decompile or modify the Apps beyond what applicable law directly permits; circumvent the technical protection. Violations entitle us to revoke the licence without a refund.

7. Arx Companion

Arx Companion is a free auxiliary app for the audio-source device. It is provided "as is", is not sold separately and requires no licence.

8. Refunds

If an App does not work on your device and we could not fix it, you may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase via @ArxSecretorum_bot. A refund terminates the licence. Statutory consumer rights are not limited by this clause.

9. Data

To operate the licence we store: your Telegram account ID and name, technical installation identifiers and licence events (sign-in, renewal, purchase, refund). This data is used solely to provide the licence, is not shared with third parties, and is deleted on your request (deletion terminates the licence, which cannot technically exist without it). The Apps do not collect your music, your library or your listening history.

10. Warranty and liability

The Apps are provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device or every USB DAC. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. Nothing here limits rights granted to you by mandatory law.

11. Intellectual property

All rights to the Apps belong to the licensor. The Apps use open-source components; the list is available in Arx Player under "Settings → About → Licences".

12. Changes

We may amend these terms; the current edition is always published at arxwerk.com/terms with its date. Amendments do not worsen the terms of licences already paid for.

13. Governing law

The agreement is governed by the law of the Russian Federation. Disputes are first addressed via @ArxSecretorum_bot negotiations, then in court under statutory jurisdiction rules.
